Node101 - sharing skills on video blogging

By Rosie Sherry • Jan 17th, 2008 • Category: Community, Education, Events

Node101 is a worldwide open source project designed to spread videoblogging. The idea is to change media from a one way conversation towards a dialogue. Node101 aims to teach anyone through supportive resources and skillsharing.

Organisers of Node101 in the UK recently organised a Navlopomo screening at The Werks which really showed a great creative variety of what people can make. A great break from the over commercialised media that we so often see.

The good news is there are plans to set up Node101 educational events here in good ole Brighton. It is still in the very early stage of development so the exact model is yet to be decided.
